The State Bar provides a variety of information, outreach, and services for
the public -- from help in finding a lawyer, to consumer legal information, to
information about the attorney grievance process.
The State Bar offers a lawyer referral service and other tools to help you select a lawyer who best suits your needs.
Unfortunately, disputes sometime arise between lawyers, or lawyers act unprofessionally toward their clients. The State Bar is committed to protecting the public, as consumers of legal services.
The State Bar's Law-Related Education Department and its subsidiary, Law-Focused Education, Inc., provide a wide range of services for teachers to help them educate students of all ages about the the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution.
